Fadeyev Mountains — the upland part of the forest-steppe Right Bank along the banks of the Volga from Kstovo to the mouth of the The Sura River.
Relative heights up to 160 m.
The soils are rich, the forest has been almost entirely cleared, the land is ploughed up, apart from individual slopes that retain steppe vegetation. Closer to the Volga the terrain is broken, with deep, steep-sided ravines; further away there are hills and dry valleys.
The town of Lyskovo and the workers' settlement of Vorotynets stand on the Fadeyev Mountains.
