Ababkovo St. Nicholas St. George Convent — founded in 1818 as an almshouse, renamed a community in 1848, and elevated in 1859 to the rank of a third-class coenobitic convent.
Closed and demolished in 1923. Revived in 1995. The convent has 22 sisters.
Abbess: nun Nikona (Zhelyakova).
