Tatyana Vasilyevna Tsygankova (5 July 1931 - 6 May 2020) — Culture (nnov.ec) of the Russian Federation. From 1970 to 2012 - director of the Nizhny Novgorod Theatre School. In her final years - deputy director of the NTU for artistic matters. One of the organisers of the all-Russian festivals of graduation productions «Nizhegorodskaya Zima» (Nizhny Novgorod Winter) and «Teatralnaya Yunost» (Theatrical Youth). Under her leadership the school repeatedly won all-Russian and international theatre festivals of student productions.
Achievements
In 2000 she was awarded the title of «Holder of the Public Recognition Badge».
The title of «Honorary Citizen of the City of Nizhny Novgorod» was conferred by resolution No. 32 of the City Council of the city of Nizhny Novgorod of 19 June 2001.
