The street's development is varied. On the right side stand the Glory Monument park (Eternal Flame), a boiler house, a vegetable depot, a two-story office building, garage cooperatives, and a railway branch line. Residential buildings are located on the left side of the street and represent two types of construction — "yellow Stalinist" buildings and five-story brick "Khrushchyovkas."

Poyushchev, Alexey Ivanovich (1923–1944) — native of the selo of Yablonka, Vadsky District, Nizhny Novgorod Region.
During the Great Patriotic War he commanded an assault aviation squadron, holding the rank of Guards Captain. He was killed on September 22, 1944, while carrying out a combat mission.
