The Pavlovo Central District Hospital (Pavlovo TsRB) is a state medical facility of the second level Pavlovo, and the lead organization of the Oksky Interdistrict Medical Center. Its structure includes an Pavlovo Central District Hospital, a road traffic accident center, and an oncology center.[2]
Composition and Activities
The Pavlovo TsRB covers the main areas of specialized medical care and is a second-level institution within the healthcare system of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.[2] The address of the outpatient department is Sovetskaya Street, 24.[1]
As part of the creation of a network of Nizhny Novgorod Region Intermunicipal Medical Centers, the Pavlovo TsRB was designated the lead institution of the Oka Inter-District Medical Center, which also incorporated the Vacha Central District Hospital, reorganized as branch facilities. The combined structure employs more than 330 physicians and over 1,100 specialists with secondary medical education.[2] The merger made it possible to arrange outpatient visits by narrow-specialty physicians from the Pavlovo TsRB to the affiliated districts on a flexible schedule.[3]
Modernization
Since 2022, more than 620 million rubles from the regional and federal budgets have been directed toward the modernization of the Pavlovo TsRB.[2][3] The work is being carried out under the national project "Long and Active Life," which has been in implementation since 2025.[3]
According to Aleksandr Maslagin, director of the Oka Inter-District Medical Center, consolidating the resources of the three hospitals has primarily helped address the shortage of narrow-specialty physicians across all three municipalities. Deputy Director for Outpatient Services Tatyana Kolchanova noted that the new model ensures an even distribution of human resources across the territories — in particular, cardiologists from the Pavlovo TsRB now regularly hold appointments at the Vacha and Sosnovo hospitals.[2][1]
