The monument to Dobrolyubov is located in a small park on Theatre Square on Pokrovka, to the right of the Theatre Square. Nearby, at 5 Pozharsky Street, stood the house where the literary critic and publicist Nikolai Alexandrovich Dobrolyubov was born.

Description of the Monument
On a low pedestal of red granite stands a seated bronze figure. The sculptor depicted N.A. Dobrolyubov at the age of 25, in a moment of contemplation and concentrated thought.
Unveiling of the Monument
The monument was unveiled on January 31, 1986, to mark the 150th anniversary of the writer's birth.
