"From 3.11.11 to 10.11.11, we (NNRU user NNRU StopNalog and associates — ed.) called all deputies of the City Council with the question: 'How did you vote on the proposal to raise the property tax for Nizhny Novgorod residents — "for" or "against", and why?' We were unable to reach everyone, as some phones went unanswered. As of 10.11.11, only two deputies admitted to voting "for." Seven deputies stated in telephone conversations that they had voted "against" the tax increase. One deputy (Aksinin V.B. — United Russia") immediately had his secretary announce that he had no intention of responding. The remaining deputies were apparently too busy, as they did not see fit to answer this simple question even through their assistants and secretaries. Please note: if there is no answer beneath a deputy's photo, it means contact has not yet been established. You can also see each deputy's party affiliation."
