Razuvayev Grigory Alekseyevich (1895–1989) — director of the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, full member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, honorary member of the New York Academy of Sciences, Hero of Socialist Labor, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR, elected deputy to the Gorky Regional Soviet of People's Deputies of several convocations.
Achievements
Awarded three Orders of Lenin; laureate of the Lenin Prize and three USSR State Prizes.
The title "Honorary Citizen of the City of Gorky" was conferred by a resolution of the Gorky City Soviet of People's Deputies on September 26, 1985.
