A park in Leninsky District near the Proletarskaya metro station. It came into being in the 1950s. Its name refers to the distinctive appearance of its trees.
About the park
This is probably the most deserted park in the city. It could also lay claim to being the cheapest, for one simple reason: there is nothing to spend money on here. Only two rides for small children are in operation — the "Chains" and the "Yunga." A Ferris wheel stands like a monument to monumentalism. The park's only redeeming qualities are clean paths, an abundance of greenery, and silence. It is a pleasant place to walk with a newborn. Though it is better not to go alone, and to visit in daylight. The one thing this park is probably known for is its local prostitutes, whose density per square metre exceeds that of the area around the railway station.
Park reconstruction
Part of the park was given over to the construction of a shopping and entertainment centre.
