OOO Dorinvest is a Nizhny Novgorod construction company operating since 2017, when it was granted the right to develop a site on the Rowing in Nizhny Novgorod. It is registered at Pamirskaya Street. The company is known for its construction of a yacht club on the Grebnoy Canal Embankment in Sloboda Pechery, a project accompanied by a number of violations and a prolonged scandal over the legality of the development.[1]

Construction of the Yacht Club on the Rowing Canal

In 2017, Dorinvest was granted a permit to construct a yacht club on a plot of land on the embankment of the Rowing Canal, opposite buildings Nos. 356a–380 in Sloboda Pechery.[1] The plot covers 22,800 square metres; it is privately owned and has a cadastral value of 84.15 million rubles.[1]

The construction was accompanied by violations of environmental legislation. On 16 December 2016, OOO Dorinvest was fined 50,000 rubles for erecting a construction fence enclosing the building site within a water-protection zone — at a distance of less than 50 metres from the water body — without the required permit. Soil dumping and the storage of felling debris following the clearing of trees and shrubs were also recorded on the site.

According to information that became public in the course of the scandal surrounding the construction, 100% of the company's shares belonged to Nizhny Novgorod Region Anton Averin.

Completion of Construction

In April 2025, the Ministry of Construction of the Nizhny Novgorod Region issued occupancy permits for two yacht-club buildings erected by Dorinvest on the same plot: the permits were issued on 4 and 22 April respectively. Both facilities received the address: Rowing Canal Embankment, 26B and 26V.[1]
