Zhirtrest

Zhirtrest — a term for a person or mythical creature given to constant overeating, whose food consumption is equivalent to that of an entire small organization.

The word dates from the early period of Soviet Power, from the 1930s, when numerous amalgamated enterprises — trusts and kombinats — were being formed.

The word is also sometimes used to refer to the Nizhny Novgorod Fat-and-Oil Plant.
