Yerekhinsky Vladimir Vladimirovich (1924–2004) — Candidate of Technical Sciences, associate professor at the Nizhny Novgorod Engineering and Construction Academy, laureate of the USSR State Prize. From 1974 to 1985, he served as chairman of the executive committee of the Gorky City Soviet of People's Deputies.
Achievements
He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labour, the Order of Friendship of Peoples, two Orders of the Badge of Honour, and various medals.
The title of Honorary Citizen of the City of Nizhny Novgorod was conferred by resolution of the City Duma of the City of Nizhny Novgorod dated July 7, 1994, No. 8.
