Heat and mass transfer in industrial and agricultural buildings and structures, including in biologically active environments; building thermal physics of buildings and structures; management of temperature and humidity regimes of buildings and structures; dynamics of moisture transfer based on the concept of moisture potential, including in biologically active environments; energy conservation in modern industrial and agricultural buildings; development of product- and energy-saving microclimate parameters and technologies in modern agricultural production buildings and structures; creation and maintenance of design microclimate parameters in religious buildings; architectural and construction ecology.

Holds 2 patents (ventilation of industrial buildings). Author of more than 200 published academic and methodological works, including 4 monographs, 9 textbooks, and the standard "Orthodox Churches.
