The Lyunda River is a tributary of the The Vetluga River, flowing not far from Lake Svetloyar.
At the end of this century, with the direct assistance of A. N. Kosarikov and of A. B. Groza, the present director of the Voskresenskoe Povetluzhye Nature Park, a bridge for natural runoff was built through the raised asphalt road to the village of Shadrino, whose solid dam with a small pipe had previously blocked the flow of water from Svetloyar into the The Lyunda River.
