Sotsgorod-I and Sotsgorod-II are microdistricts of Avtozavodsky District. Sotsgorod is the name given to residential developments built in the 1930s according to a unified plan in various cities of the former USSR. The districts are divided into blocks (pronounced "kva'rtal" with stress on the first syllable).
