A walk around the square

Revolution Square (formerly Vokzalnaya, Chelyuskintsev) — located directly in front of Moscow Railway Station.

In Soviet times it was a venue for demonstrations.

General view of Revolution Square

The left edge — the intersection of Litvinov Street and Sovetskaya Street, where the former Railway Workers' Commune building (1929–34) stands. At the other end — the McDonald's building (Kharitonov, Pestov, Tarasov, 1998), Respublika Shopping Centre (Ferrari Moscow Studio, 2005), and the Central Department Store building (built in 1935–36 by A.
