Malinovaya Gryada is a locality on the right bank of the Oka in the southern part of Prioksky District. It is an elongated hill running along the riverbank. The name refers to the character of the area — a vivid raspberry-red hue. According to another version, the name is explained by the abundance of raspberry bushes growing on the slopes.
