Stepanov Nikolay Ivanovich (1927–2008) — veteran of the The Great Patriotic War, Hero of Socialist Labor, driving instructor at Nizhny Novgorod Passenger Motor Transport Enterprise No. 1. He was elected as a deputy to the Kanavinsky District and Gorky City Councils of People's Deputies.
Achievements
Awarded two Orders of Lenin, the Order of the October Revolution, and various medals.
The title of "Honorary Citizen of the City of Nizhny Novgorod" was conferred by resolution of the City Duma of the City of Nizhny Novgorod dated April 27, 1995, No. 12.
