Myshkin Lane — laid out within the formal red-line street grid of Nizhny Novgorod from Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street to the slope of the Pochaina Ravine, according to a plan by architect Ya. Niklaus (1804), on the site of an older alley whose name derived from the Myshkin posad family who lived here in the 17th century.
