Aristarkhos, Dmitry Avramovich (born November 10, 1923) — participant in the The Great Patriotic War, Hero of the Soviet Union, retired colonel. From July 1, 1941 to May 1945 he took part in combat against the fascist invaders, was wounded five times. Served 33 years in the Armed Forces.

Awarded the Orders of Lenin, the Red Banner of Battle, the Patriotic War 1st Class, the Red Star, and various medals.
Honorary Citizen of Ukraine, Honorary Citizen of Nizhny Novgorod Region, entered in the Book of People's Glory of Belarus.
The title "Honorary Citizen of the City of Nizhny Novgorod" was conferred by resolution of the City Duma of the City of Nizhny Novgorod dated April 27, 1995, No. 17.
