"Buy Nizhny Novgorod-made" is a programme of the Nizhny Novgorod regional government to develop the light and food industries of the region. It is promoted by Valery Shantsev.
The idea is that Nizhny Novgorod residents will favour goods made by themselves and thereby minimise external trade turnover (see Autarky).
