A new fact from a link
The encyclopedia grows through links, not through hand-edited text: you bring a publication, facts are extracted from it and written into the article with a footnote to the source. The publication itself goes to the web archive — it stays available even if the outlet’s site disappears. Not sure which article it belongs to? Just give the link: the object is identified from the publication, and if no article about it exists yet, one will be proposed for creation.
