Main facts of career
Worked as a process engineer at the Noginsk pilot plant in Moscow Region.
He then studied as a postgraduate and in 1972 defended his candidate's dissertation on research in powder metallurgy. He taught at the departments of “Metals Technology” and “Thermal and Plastic Treatment of Metals”. After defending his doctoral dissertation in 1999, he has headed the department of “Thermal Physics, Automation and Ecology of Furnaces”.
Author of three books, more than 70 academic publications and a number of inventor's certificates.
