Averina Vera Ivanovna (1907–1971) — graphic artist and art historian. Worked in easel graphics and book illustration.
Born in Nizhny Novgorod. Graduated from VKhUTEIN in Leningrad (1925–1930). Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1949. Participant in regional exhibitions from 1938. Exhibited at the 2nd Exhibition of Provincial Artists (Moscow, 1940), republican (Moscow, 1948), and all-union (Moscow, 1947) art exhibitions. Solo exhibition: City of Gorky, 1951. Candidate of Art History (1957). Taught at GISI (1942–1947).
