Vali Kotika Street

Vali Kotika Street (formerly 1st Line of the 25 Oktyabrya Backwater). Located in the 25th Anniversary of October Backwater.

Valya Kotik (1930–1944) was a Pioneer and Hero of the Soviet Union. He carried out assignments for the Shepetovka underground organization. In one battle he was wounded while shielding his partisan unit's commander with his own body. He was killed during the liberation of the city of Izyaslav. The title of Hero was conferred on Valya posthumously in 1958.
