Timurovsky Lane is located in Moskovsky District, running perpendicular to Kominterna Street, from Profsoyuznaya Street to Berezovskaya Street.
Timurovtsy were participants in a patriotic children's movement dedicated to helping the families of soldiers, people with disabilities, the elderly, and orphaned children. The movement arose in the USSR following the publication of Arkady Gaidar's story "Timur and His Team" in 1940.
