Theatre Square (colloquially the Drama) — a square at the start of Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street.
Located here are the Nizhny Novgorod Gorky Drama Theatre, and monuments to Evgeny Evstigneev, Dobrolyubov, and The Cheerful Goat.
The area in front of the theatre serves as a regular gathering spot for informal youth, political campaigning, street concerts, and celebrations (fire shows, etc.)
School fairs are also held here.
