On the subdomain lingym67.narod.ru, hosted on the free hosting system "Narod.Ru", was a site of a Nizhny Novgorod school, identified in its own materials as the "Nizhny Novgorod Linguistic Gymnasium"[1]. The resource was recorded in the nn.ru directory (path "/rub/"), which is what included it in the Nizhny Novgorod census[1].

What the site looked like and what it offered

The site was built on the uCoz builder — this was stated directly by the caption in the footer of the home page: "Powered by uCoz technologies"[1]. The menu included the sections "Holidays", "Teacher of the Year", "Guestbook", "History of the Gymnasium", "Chat", "Projects", "Forum", "Site Map" and "How to Contact Us" — a typical set for a school site of the mid-2000s, combining official information with elements of live interaction (guestbook, chat, forum)[1].

The central block of the home page was "Gymnasium News" — short dated notes from 2006. As the home page reported, the gymnasium congratulated "all Russians on VICTORY DAY" (May 9), "all women on International Women's Day" (March 8), and "all men on the holiday — DEFENDER OF THE FATHERLAND DAY" (February 23)[1]. Among the news of school life was the arrival of an Italian delegation "on a return visit", a report on the successful defense of E. A. Kazakova's candidate dissertation, and a series of congratulations on district and city results: to pupil T. Tepaeva — for 3rd place in the district Russian language olympiad, to teacher N. B. Radostina — for 2nd place in the district "Coolest Class Teacher" contest, to S. A. Novikova — for 1st place in the district and 6th place in the city "Teacher of the Year" contest[1].

In the census entry, the site is recorded with a rating of 9.0 in the Counter.nn.ru system — the counter used to build the ranking of Nizhny Novgorod sites[1]. At the same time, no votes for the site within the Nizhny Novgorod Internet Day are recorded in our data: there is no confirmation of participation in the DNI voting in the preserved samples.
