ndom.ru was the website of the Nizhny Novgorod construction company "Nizhegorodsky Dom" (Nizhny Novgorod House), known from surviving snapshots since 2000[1] and listed in the nn.ru directory with the description "Construction of administrative and residential buildings. Production of building materials"[1]. The company gave a Nizhny Novgorod address — Bolshaya Pokrovskaya, 8 — and phone numbers with the 8312 area code[1].
What the site looked like and what it offered
In the earliest saved snapshot, from 2000, the home page was titled "Nizhegorodsky Dom" and contained the sections "About the Company," "Projects," "Building Materials," "New Technologies," and "Sales"[1]. The company listed its address as 603005, Russia, Nizhny Novgorod, B. Pokrovskaya, 8, fax (8312) 339 433, phone (8312) 332 375, and two email addresses — rodionov@ndom.ru and realtor@ndom.ru[1]. According to the home page, the site's design was made by "KVK" and refined by "Moris"[1].
By 2011 the site's focus had shifted toward production: "Nizhegorodsky Dom" was presented as a "Building Materials Plant" and "Construction Company," with product catalogue sections for paving stones (paving tile), facing brick, curbstone, floor slabs, inspection-well components, reinforced-concrete pipes, and foundation blocks; the page also listed sites where the products had been used: Revolution Square, Kremlyovsky Boulevard, the Nizhny Novgorod Region Prosecutor's Office, the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveyevo Monastery, the "Sormovsky" cinema, Pushkin Garden on Gagarin Avenue, and Shveytsariya Park[2]. A news item dated September 29, 2011 reported seasonal price cuts on paving stones, roadside curbstone, and highway curbstone[2].
By 2013 the owner of record was OOO "Nizhegorodsky Dom i K"[7], and the site described itself as "the largest full-service construction industry enterprise in Nizhny Novgorod," using German HESS technology for paving stones and curbstones, German Schlosser-Pfeiffer technology for wells and pipes, and Spanish Tensiland technology for floor slabs; according to the site's own text, its delivery area included Mordovia, Chuvashia, the Ivanovo and Vladimir regions, the Volga region, Bashkiria, Vorkuta, and Khanty-Mansiysk[3]. In 2015-2016 the site was relaunched as an "online store of building materials for Nizhny Novgorod," with a callback form and the phone number 8(831) 258-38-38, later +7 (831) 258-38-38[4][5]; sections for "Vacancies" and "Rental" were added[5].
