Zharkov Nikolay Sergeyevich (born November 17, 1937) — General Director of JSC "Plant 'Krasnoye Sormovo Plant'", Candidate of Technical Sciences, laureate of the USSR Council of Ministers Prize and the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology. He was elected as a deputy to the district and city Soviet of People's Deputies for several terms.

Awarded the Orders of Lenin and "Badge of Honor", as well as medals.
The title of "Honorary Citizen of the City of Nizhny Novgorod" was conferred by Resolution No. 24 of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma dated August 29, 1997.
