Melnikov Mikhail Leontyevich (1893–1980) — personal pensioner of all-union significance, participant in the Great October Socialist Revolution and the Great Patriotic War, Party member since 1913. From 1932 to 1934 he served as chairman of the executive committee of the Avtozavodsky District Soviet of Workers' and Peasants' Deputies.
Achievements
Awarded the Orders of Lenin, of the Red Star, and "Badge of Honor," as well as various medals.
The title "Honorary Citizen of the City of Gorky" was conferred by a resolution of the Gorky City Soviet of Working People's Deputies on September 15, 1977.
