Pronin Konstantin Aleksandrovich (born September 21, 1918) — Guards Lieutenant Colonel (ret.), veteran of the The Great Patriotic War. Honorary Citizen of Nizhny Novgorod.
Brief Biography
In the first days of the war he was sent to the front. He fought on the Leningrad and 3rd Baltic Fronts until Victory Day, rising from platoon commander to first assistant chief of staff of a regiment. He holds the rank of Guards Lieutenant Colonel (ret.).
He was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky, the Order of the Red Star, two Orders of the Patriotic War 1st Class, and the medals "For Combat Merit" and "For the Defence of Leningrad."
The title "Honorary Citizen of Nizhny Novgorod" was conferred by resolution of the City Council of Nizhny Novgorod dated September 3, 2010, No. 46.
