Ryabov Gennady Petrovich (born 23 December 1944) — rector of the Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University named after N. A. Dobrolyubov, professor, Honorary Consul of the French Republic in Nizhny Novgorod.
Author of more than 150 scholarly and teaching-methodology works, textbooks for universities and schools.
Achievements
Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honour and the Order of Friendship of Peoples, a diploma of the American Biographical Institute "For Outstanding Contribution to Education", and the Austrian medal "For International Cooperation in the Field of Culture".
The title "Honorary Citizen of the City of Nizhny Novgorod" was conferred by resolution of the City Duma of the city of Nizhny Novgorod of 16 June 2004, No. 38.
