pharm.nnov.ru was the site of Farmkomplekt LLC, a Nizhny Novgorod pharmaceutical wholesale company. The homepage title read "Farmkomplekt LLC Nizhny Novgorod," the bottom of the page carried a phone number with the Nizhny Novgorod code +7 (831) 277-81-77 and a "Directions" link[1]. The site's own news item called the firm "the only representative of Nizhny Novgorod land to make the Russian 'gazelles' rating"[1]. The web archive index for this address holds 80 entries: the first dated March 2, 2001, the last November 15, 2022; the surviving texts that allow judging the content date to 2011-2016.

What the homepage looked like

The top of the page carried the motto: "FARMKOMPLEKT — Be healthy, successful, and happy with us!"[1] The site menu was short and corporate: "About the Company," "For Clients and Suppliers," "Logistics," "Foreign Trade," "Careers," "Contacts," with a "Site Map" and "English version" alongside[1]. There was also a members-only entry point on the homepage: "Personal Account" and "Registration" items appear in the 2011 and 2014 snapshots[1][2], but they are gone in the 2015 and 2016 snapshots, along with the links to the English version[3][4]. The page did not explain who the personal account was meant for.

The center of the page was split between two feeds — "News" with an archive and a "Our Services" block. In the 2014 snapshot a line appeared next to the menu: "Market leader in the Delovoy Kvartal rating"[2], and in the 2015 and 2016 snapshots a separate "Our Achievements" block appeared with excerpts from industry ratings[3][4]. In the footer, next to the copyright mark, stood the developer's credit: "Site created by studio 'Level UP'"[1]. The copyright mark only got longer year by year — "© 2011," then "© 2011-2014," "© 2011-2015," and "© 2011-2016"[1][2][3][4]. The service descriptions in the 2011, 2014, and 2015 snapshots matched word for word[1][2][3]. A separate line stated the firm's age, and the number in it kept shifting: "17 years in the pharmaceutical market" in 2011, "20 years" in 2014 and 2015, and "18 years" in 2016[1][2][3][4].

What the company offered

The main line of business, as the homepage stated, was "distribution of pharmaceuticals, parapharmaceuticals, medical devices, medical equipment, and other pharmaceutical products across the whole territory of the Russian Federation, to CIS countries and the Far Abroad"[1]. The second service featured on the homepage was international registration of medicines: "We carry out international registration of medicines and other pharmaceutical products, organize their launch on CIS markets and their further promotion"[1]. In the 2016 snapshot these two descriptions are no longer in the services block — replaced by logistics alone: "Thanks to our network of branches and representative offices, our company provides quality storage and cargo handling of pharmaceutical goods across a wide service area"[4].

In the nn.ru directory, from which the site made it into our cross-section, it is listed with a description of wholesale trade in pharmaceutical products across Nizhny Novgorod, the region, the country, and the CIS, mentioning a pharmacy chain, a product catalog, and a price list. In the texts of the 2011-2016 snapshots there is no longer any product catalog, price list, or pharmacy chain on the homepage: by that time the page was purely corporate[1][2][3][4].

Ratings and place in the Nizhny Novgorod internet

The news and achievements block in the surviving snapshots is almost entirely occupied by industry ratings. A news item from July 19, 2011 reported that "Farmkomplekt company took an honorable 16th place in the rating of 124 fast-growing Russian companies for 2009"[1]. The achievements block mentioned the RBC magazine rating of the thirty fastest-growing Russian companies for 2011-2013, where the firm, with annual growth of over 50%, took tenth place, and the Delovoy Kvartal magazine rating of the largest companies of Nizhny Novgorod Region, where by revenue for 2013 with 156% growth it took thirteenth place[3]. The 2015 news items were "RBC named the 500 largest Russian companies" (November 2) and "Farmkomplekt company made the list of the most dynamic billionaire companies of Nizhny Novgorod Region" (August 24)[3]. The last surviving pair of news items dates to late 2016: November 11 — on making the "100 largest companies of the region" rating, December 6 — "Review of industry regulatory acts"[4]. At that time a line also appeared in the achievements block about the "TOP600-2015 by revenue RAEX" rating from the RAEX agency ("Expert RA")[4].

The site left almost no public trace in the Nizhny Novgorod Internet. The domain pharm.nnov.ru does not appear in the published results table of the 2004 Nizhny Novgorod Internet Day vote[5]. It is also absent from the surviving samples of the Counter.nn.ru counter, and no traffic figures for it are recorded in our data — the site entered the Archival study of the Nizhny Novgorod internet from the counter.nn.ru rating through an industry directory rather than through a rating. The texts of the four surviving homepage snapshots contain no mentions of visitor counters either[1][2][3][4].

How the site closed

The substantive homepage snapshots break off in December 2016: further on the archive index continues, but we have no collected texts showing the site's editorial team still active[4]. The last web archive index entry is dated November 15, 2022. In our census the address pharm.nnov.ru is listed as dead: there is no live response from it, and no move to another domain is recorded in the collected data. What remains of the site is four years of a homepage — a corporate showcase for a Nizhny Novgorod pharmaceutical distributor, with a single phone number, a "Directions" link, and a feed of ratings.
