me "Glubokoye" (Deep) refers to the area of ZKPD-4, Gaugel Street, Sormovo Cemetery, and so on.
Between ZKPD-4 and Sormovo Cemetery lie sandy quarries and a lake (sometimes called Narodnoye), stretching from ZKPD to Narodnaya station. Many Nizhny Novgorod residents enjoy spending time at this lake, as evidenced by the amount of litter left behind. Visitors are undeterred by the remoteness of the location or its proximity to the cemetery. The local color is further enhanced by coffins and drowned bodies that periodically surface (the lake occupies the site of the oldest, long-since-closed section of Sormovo Cemetery), which does nothing to diminish the spot's popularity, especially during swimming season.
