Chaadaev Street

Chaadaev Street is located in Moskovsky District, in the Ordzhonikidze settlement. It runs from Yaroshenko Street to Ardatovskaya Street.

Pyotr Yakovlevich Chaadaev (1794–1856) was a Russian thinker and representative of the ideology of the Russian noble Enlightenment of the 1830s–1850s. He took part in the Patriotic War of 1812, was a friend of Pushkin, and was a member of the secret Decembrist society "Union of Welfare."
