Aleksandr Kharitonovich Busygin

Busygin Aleksandr Kharitonovich (1907–1985) — personal pensioner of union-level significance, Hero of Socialist Labor, initiator of the Stakhanovite movement in mechanical engineering. From 1931 he worked in construction, and later as a blacksmith at the Gorky Automobile Plant. He was elected a delegate to the 18th Congress of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) and twice a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR.

Achievements

Awarded two Orders of Lenin, the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, the Order of the Red Star, and various medals.

The title "Honorary Citizen of the City of Gorky" was conferred by decision of the Gorky City Council of People's Deputies on June 17, 1976.
