The Polyclinic in Ankudinovka is a planned medical facility in Ankudinovka, Kstovo District, designed to serve both adults and children; it is being built under the program for modernization of primary healthcare in Nizhny Novgorod Region.[1] In August 2026, a tender was announced for the full scope of work — from design to commissioning;[2] completion of design and construction is scheduled for May 1, 2028, with the entire scope of work planned through 2029.[1] At the time the tender was announced, Ankudinovka had no polyclinic at all; in 2025, residents complained about the lack of medical facilities, after which the Ministry of Health promised that such an institution would open by 2030.[1]

Tender and Funding

The client is the State Government Institution "Nizhegorodstroyzakazchik". The initial (maximum) contract price is 883.8 million rubles: 30 million rubles is allocated for engineering surveys and preparation of design and working documentation, and 853.8 million rubles for construction and installation works.[2] Funding is provided under the Targeted Investment Program of Nizhny Novgorod Region for 2026–2028, drawing on both federal and regional budget funds.[2] The total funding for the entire scope of work to create the polyclinic amounts to approximately 1.411 billion rubles: 1.3 billion rubles from the federal budget and 111 million rubles from the regional budget.[1] Applications to participate in the auction were accepted until August 17, 2026, with results scheduled to be announced on August 20.[1]

Shortly before the tender for the Ankudinovka polyclinic was announced, three new polyclinics had been commissioned in Nizhny Novgorod Region — in Novinki, Sormovo, and Novopokrovskoye; the combined cost of these projects exceeded 2 billion rubles.[1]

Facility Specifications

The polyclinic will be designed for 500 visits per shift: 270 for adults and 230 for children; the facility is intended to operate in two shifts.[2] The building will be five storeys, including one underground floor (or, according to another description in the sources, four above-ground floors with a basement level[1]). The total floor area of the building is approximately 7,200 sq. m, with a footprint of approximately 2,400 sq. m. The construction site is located in the area of Mira Street and covers approximately 13,460 sq. m (about 1.3 hectares).[2] The architectural appearance of the new polyclinic was approved in Nizhny Novgorod before the construction tender was announced.[3]

The facility will include children's and adult departments with specialist consulting rooms, functional diagnostics departments, emergency care rooms, a radiology unit, a healthy child room, and a mother-and-child room. The day hospital will have 9 beds for children and 8 for adults. The building will have two elevators, ramps, and separate entrances for children and adults.
