Kondratenko Aleksandr Vladimirovich is a Nizhny Novgorod film director and screenwriter, founder and chief director of Kondor Film Studio, who has been working in professional cinema since 2009.[1]
Early career and the Kondor film studio
From childhood, Kondratenko appeared in films made by his father, a professional cinematographer and photographer.[1] At the age of 14, he founded an amateur film studio in Nizhny Novgorod, which over time grew into the professional Kondor film company.[1] In the early period of the studio's activity, around 20 feature-length films were made, some of which were broadcast on local Nizhny Novgorod television channels.[1] The film company specializes in showcasing Eastern martial arts techniques and storylines related to their application; Kondratenko heads the studio as chief director.[1]
Filmography
In 2010, Kondratenko served as director and screenwriter of Yellow Cloud", made in the genre of futuristic drama and at the time the studio's largest non-commercial film project. The film premiered on October 31, 2010, at the Record Cinema Center in Nizhny Novgorod, with the support of the Nizhny Novgorod Region State Enterprise "Oblkinovideoobjedinenie".[1] Kondratenko's professional filmography also includes the films "The Superfluous" and "Catharsis", as well as the film "Happy Victory Day!", made with the support of the National Foundation for the Support of Rights Holders.[1]
