Main facts of activity
1969-1972 – engineer at the TsKB for Hydrofoils (central design bureau). From 1972 – teaching at the Gorky Polytechnic Institute, first at the “Ship Theory and Structural Mechanics” department, then, from 1974 to the present day, at the “Ship Theory and Hydromechanics” department. In 1978 he defended his candidate's dissertation. From 1989 to 1994 he headed the “Ship Theory and Hydromechanics” department, and since 2006 – professor of the department. In 2004 he defended his doctoral dissertation, and in 2006 received the title of professor.
